Two arrested in connection with wild San Francisco stairway crash SAN FRANCISCO – Authorities on Wednesday announced the arrests of two people in connection with a spectacular crash over the weekend that was captured on camera and saw a car flip over a section of the Sanchez Street Stairs in San Francisco.Officers found the suspects Tuesday night in the 1400 block of Pine Street in Nob Hill, the San Francisco Police Department said in a news release.The suspects – identified as a 36-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman, both of San Francisco – were arrested on suspicion of carjacking, receiving a stolen vehicle and conspiracy. The woman was also arrested on suspicion of reckless driving.The man was taken to a hospital to be treated for injuries he suffered in the collision days earlier.
